  My wife and I had been looking for a good church for almost 2 years on the Northeast side of KC. We struggled to find a church where we could connect with other people in our unique age/family situation. We couldn't ever quite find a good fit. My in-laws started going back to church where they raised my wife and her brother at PVBC. Not having grown up Baptist, (and being calloused to organized denominations), I was a bit hesitant at first, but when we started going, the teaching from Pr. Merle and others really spoke to me. We found an awesome group of Christian Believers that is extremely invested in reaching their community for Christ. We have been going to PVBC for about 6 months now, and have really connected in with a small group and I'm amazed at the wonderful amount of different ministries they have to reach people of all ages and backgrounds. My recommendation is that if you are looking for a church, don't look at the name on the sign. Come, visit, and find out for yourself how great of a Community Pleasant Valley is!

  He and the staff at the church are very loving and sweet. Their services are awesome and they are just so amazing. All together they are an amazing church. I used to come here every Sunday before I moved but they are so amazing. If anyone is looking for a church I really recomened this one.

  Friendly people, a variety of programs, and accurate Bible teaching is a great combination!
